History
A military village was built here in the 1960s, the largest in Taiwan at the time, and its residents moved into 13 high-rise blocks built between 1981 and 1985. The dense, wrap-around buildings earned the nickname 'Little Hong Kong' online, and the estate still has its own barbers, market and breakfast shops.
