Kaohsiung's breakfast shops open early and many close by lunch. This walk goes from soup dumplings and braised pork rice to papaya milk and gua bao, all within about two kilometres.

Getting there

Take the MRT Orange Line to Cianjin (O4); the first stop is about 8 minutes on foot. The walk ends near Sinyi Elementary School (O6).

On the way

  • Formosa Boulevard Station: The Dome of Light, a large stained-glass ceiling, is on the way to the last stop.
