History
The Japanese administration built it in 1912 on the Qiwei branch line to carry sugar cane, rice, bananas and passengers. The line was decommissioned in 1978 and formally abandoned in 1982. The Tudor-influenced building was listed in 2005 and reopened to visitors in 2009.

This Cishan old-street stall is credited with starting the town's pan-fried meatballs over 50 years ago. The pork-and-scallion filling is steamed, then pan-fried in lard and served with sweet chilli sauce and coriander.
