History
Residents raised money after the war to build it on the site of the old town office, later a school that was destroyed in a 1945 air raid. Sources give 1949 or 1951 for its founding. Master temple painter Pan Lishui worked on it, and a small museum next door shows his paintings. A renovation that began in 2019 was finished in 2024.
