What it is

肉骨湯 means 'meat-bone soup', a broth made with meaty pork bones. It is a side, not a main.

How it is made

Pork bones are simmered in water to make a mild broth.

How to eat it

Kaohsiung's tourism site suggests a bowl of the mellow pork bone soup to go with grilled snacks at San Lun De Dian in Fengshan. The shop also serves it with glass noodles (肉骨冬粉).

In Kaohsiung

San Lun De Dian began in 1961 as a tricycle cart and now sells charcoal-grilled sausage, oden and pork bone soup from a lane shop in Fengshan.
